The Lydy Hack for Non Standard Take-Away Cups
At Lydy, we design our lids to fit standard size take-away cups that are 80mm or 89-90mm in diameter. However, we know that some manufacturers supply a 85mm cup, which is only 5% of the market. If you're using a 85mm cup and find that Lydy doesn't seal the whole cup, don't worry! We've got a hack for you.
Here are the steps
Step 1. Place your cup on a flat surface
Step 2. Align the drinking spout with the larger, 90mm, ring against the rim of the cup
Step 3. Push the section down
You will notice that the back is not sealed but that is OK as it shouldn't leak from the front. Just don't tilt it backwards. Give it a little test first if you are concerned it will spill.

This hack works well if you're not travelling too far with your coffee. We don't recommend using it for long periods of time or for super hot beverages. But if you're in a pinch and need a quick fix, this hack will do the trick. Thanks for being part of the Lydy community!
